I'll give it a try there as well. I suspect your right about it picking up wind noise from the windshield. Thanks.

looks great. How is the external mic for your BT working mounted on your steering console? I put mine up by the rear view mirror and it's not working worth a darn. Eveyone says it sounds like I'm in a tunnel. I was thinking of moving it to the front of the glass roof panel, just over my head to see if that would work any better.

Couldn't agree more. I just bought an 06 as it was still the diesel, I would not consider buying a gas one.

I just went there and it looks like it will do the trick. Thanks for your help.

Yeh, that was a bit of an accident. I'm new as of yesterday and realized I posted in the wrong section, and re=posted where I thought it belonged. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to delete the original one. I'll get the hang of this sooner or later...

No kidding, but thank-you anyways.

Great, thank-you for your help..

Thanks for the link. Do you know if there would be any local here in Vancouver? or just online? I'm happy to order it online, but it would be great to grab one locally. Thanks again..

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement stereo faceplate. I have just changed out the original stereo with one that has built in Bluetooth, but the faceplate that comes with it does not cover the rounded sides. I checked with Mercedes but they were not very helpfull. Thanks for any help.
