Is there an online listing of all the TSB's Technical Service Bulletins?

When I take my Smart over 110km/hr I begin to hear a great deal of noise which appears to be coming from the Power Sunroof. I'm certain I read someone say they had this problem and they took it to the dealer for an adjustment. Is this the case or do I just have to live with all that noise?

Averaging 4.889 litres/100km and driving it all out almost all the time. These are amazing results. And to think they will only get better over time. This is a dream car for mileage.

I received confirmation that TPM will cover the $300 deductable. Kudos to TPM and their client focused team. Cheers

Absolutely! TPM seems to be resonable but I don't understand why they want to keep pushing my buttons on this issue. They probably need to look at another carrier who perhaps charges a bit more but requires no deductable. The car to 15 days to deliver. It took one month to config to my specs. This was an all cash deal so I could get the car fast and on time. I got the car but the delays were a bit frustrating. And now dealing with delays in repair authorization from TPM carrier and the deductable just add to my frustration. BTW the car is fantistic. It drives great. I think I really surprise people when this little car accelerates from a stop. This thing can really move if you let it. I also found that when on the highway at just over 110+ I get alot of noise from the power sunroof (When closed). I'm certain someone on this board said it is an adjustment and would like to confirm that. Cheers

I did speak with management and so far they are just pointing fingers. The car config I wanted was just not available in Ontario or Quebec and BC's Three Point Motors was the only dealership that could come relatively close by moving installed features between cars.

BTW... I am very happy with Three Point Motors Sales overall just not with the way in which they are handling this issue. $28K for a brand new Smart, $600 for shipping and I am left with "they are responsible" by both parties.

Carrier's Insurance hold a $300 deductable which is the arraingement with Three Point Motors and not with me. As per the carrier it is Three Point Motors that signed the agreement but the carrier deducts the deductable regardless who pays. So I pay the total bill and receive a cheque less the $300 deductable which Three Point Motors is responsible. It's just a bad arraingement by Three Point Motors for transportation. I just spoke with a lawyer friend and he agreed that ultimately Three Point Motors is liable as my agreement was with them and theirs is with the courier. If I don't get that $300, it is going to cost Three Point Motors much more then that for sure. Cheers

I wanted to let you folks know that I received my Smart from Three Point Motors Victoria but it arrived with a cracked front driver fender. I'm trilled to finally have received the car but am disappointed in the fact it has a crack in the body. The courier company says they will remove a $300 deductable from the repair cost which is approx $500. The deductable is part of the agreement with Three Point Motors and they still have not indicated they will pay. I'll keep you all informed as this saga progresses. Anyone know what he charges for an oil change on the Smart? Still waiting for my Smart but would like to understand costs. Does he also do the Service A/B? Cheers

I appreciate the info. Should I get alum rims to avoid rusting? Which is the better way to go. I'll have my company ad on my Smart so I need it to look sharp in both summer and winter.

Forgot to mention I live in Mississauga area around Mavis and Eglington.

I should be taking posession of my new Smart within the next two weeks. I'd like to purchase Winter tire and rims right away. Can anyone provide some advise on the right tire and where I could purchase the tires and rims at a resonable price? Cheers

OK... I read all the things that you have all been through. I believe I understand all of them except the fillup at Sunoco. What do you mean by the big nozzel? Keep it clean. Cheers
