  1. Good morning, how can I find the map version on my 2005 CDI. Larry
  2. I just purchase some software to load on a laptop from eBay it's called Advanced 2015 OBD2 Scanner scan Tool software + ECU Chiptuning Remaping for $47.00 US plus $5.00 shipping it's compatible with all car manufacture. I'll let you know how it work when I get it. Larry
  3. I adjusted the actuator manually by loosening the screws push it into the housing than you release it, it moves back a little and you secure it in place. It's a ball park adjustment and you can drive it around but as I notice and just found out it needs to be adjusted using the STAR machine.
  4. Thanks, I'll do that. Cheers, Larry
  5. So I guess I have to go to the dealer for that since I don't have the STAR machine.
  6. Good morning, I recently replaced the clutch release fork and the clutch actuator on my 2005 Pulse CDI. When I first start the car it sometimes doesn't read the gear I'm in, it's usually blank or sometimes I have the 3 bars but can still shift in reverse or 1 gear all the way to 6 and it clears itself up. Any idea what I have done wrong or something I haven't done. Cheers, Larry
  7. Thanks for all, I have a little problem my first time doing this, I have the axle bolt out but how do I remove the axle from the gear box. Cheers, Larry
  8. Thanks for all the tips, I have manage to work on it a little over the weekend awaiting parts, as I lowered the engine I went a little too far and the emergency brake cable came undone from the lever in the car, something I have to fix before I continue. I replace the alternator as it was seized up. I hope to fix the emergency brake tonight and drain the transmission oil. Cheers, Larry
  9. Thanks for all the responses. Cheers, Larry
  10. Thanks Tolsen, do I need any special tools to remove the drive shafts and since both drive shafts are out are there any other maintenance I should perform. Larry
  11. I'm new to this site and a new owner of a 2005 CDI Pulse after driving my new Smart for about two months the car would not shift, I brought it to the MB dealer for a diagnostic and they told me I needed a new clutch actuator and a new fork. I can replace the clutch actuator fairly easily however, how do I go about replacing the clutch release fork. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Larry
