  1. Yikes..........$3,750 CDN. Definitely need a volume discount on this.

  4. I had the solid roof on my 450 replaced with a used panoramic glass one a couple of years ago. London Glass did the work at Glenn's . They cut out the old one and refastened (glued) in the new 1 in less than an hour. The sliding shade is still in storage since I preferred the full glass view. It can be added back at any time.
  5. Don't forget to bring back 1 for me. I think that you are allowed to bring back 2 as "Carry-On".
  6. Yes, Uncle Glenn used his "Star" program to activate my tach a couple years ago for a new install.
  7. My new "Conti Summers" just arrived on my front porch. Now just need to have them mounted.

  9. I have the standard single cup holder that is 100% useless. I bought a hanging cup holder from Canadian Tire for $5.99 which was equally as useless. BUT! I cut the hanger off flush at the bottom and it fits snugly in the Original holder and easily holds all coffees up to XL without any issues at all. Going on 4 years now without tipping or spilling a drop. CT # is 037-4925-0. Tried something different attaching the pics so hopefully it works.
  10. Sounds like the "Norm". On and off button. They stay on with DRLs, low Beam or High Beam.
  11. My lower 2 turn signal lights were relocated into the headlights as the "Euro Mod". H3 Driving lights and bracket were installed in their place. As Henry mentioned; the switch located on the left below the ashtray is the dash dimmer control. If I recall; when the switch is popped out, there is an extra wire tucked in behind it that feeds a relay. The dimmer switch wire is disconnected and the newly found wires are then plugged in. In my case, the switch was replaced with a fancy MB switch. The dimmer for the dash is now disabled but still turns on and off with the headlight switch. Just no dimmer control. We also wired quick disconnects to the new H3's for easier removal of the front end. I'm quite sure that a couple wire swaps were also performed to relocate the power to the new turn signal location. Funny part is that the solution to delete the Turn signals from the headlight location was to cut the power lead to each light and shrink wrap the ends. The wires are just hanging there behind the headlights. High Tech solution. LOL. Hopefully Smart142 will add to this.
  12. I keep seeing a 450 with Black frame and red panels and snows on black rims. I've seen it here in London 4-5 times this winter. Exactly a match to "Sally's" Current colours. Eerie to keep seeing. Good thing it's almost time to switch back to a set of my other panel and rim combinations.
  13. We had 21 attend our monthly "Smart Dinner" here in London last Tuesday. It was great to have some new members attend. Maybe make a road trip with your "Clan" down this way in the summer.
  14. At work..........just advised I had a flat tire. Still going to try to make it there tonight pending "TireRepair101".
  15. 100% in agreement! I made a dramatic change and sold my RAM 2500 and Honda Goldwing 4 years ago and switched to a Smart. It's my daily vehicle through every season. I have owned 17 Motorcycles over 33 years and combining all of the "Road Abuse" experiences doesn't even come close to my Smart Car encounters. I love my car, but without 100% defensive attentiveness, I would have been "Roadkill" years ago. I'll add to your list, "Invisibility". A great superhero trait.........but not so good for a Smart. I added 2 Dual-Tone Hi-Way Blasters to mine years ago. Definitely made a difference in getting most driver's attention...........but in some cases seemed to elevate "the haters" aggression. Drive Safe!
