  1. Welcome to the club Excellent advice from "Uncle Glenn"; mine seized when I left it parked at the airport over Christmas for 2 weeks.
  2. Uncle Glenn replaced "Sally's" emergency brake cables on the weekend. Also replaced both front sway bar bushings/linkages (name).
  3. FYI: For the "Juicers", if you are not familiar with Dino's...........there are 2 Level II charging stations on the side of the Woodstock Hydro Services building on Whites Lane. A mere 736 ft. from Dino's.

  5. Had "Sally" prepped up yesterday for the warmer weather. Oil and filter change, Air filter change and the usual full mechanical check. Panels were changed from her "Phat Reds" over to her "Bay Grays" along with her newly acquired Passion Wheels.. Mucho Thanks to Uncle Glenn for all of the hard work. I think that I may have a hording issue now that I've got 3 sets of panels: White, Phat Red & Bay Gray along with 3 sets of Rims & Tires; Steels, Pures & Passions.
  6. Ron & Dot, We just had our Easter dinner bumped from Sunday to Saturday. Very Sorry that I can't make it out to Belmont now. All the best for this momentous occasion. Best Regards, ToFu.

  9. Yes, sorry I should have been more specific. Tolsen is correct. The copper washer was "oddly" crushed.

  11. I was having the same issue with the surging at idle (700-900 rpm). Rail pressure was quite low on #1. When swapping it out, Uncle Glenn noticed that the gasket was slightly distorted. Replaced the gasket and all 3 smoothed out perfectly.
  12. My suggestion is to PM smart142.
  13. "Sally" reacts the same way. Glowplugs, Injectors & EGR all check out fine. She's a little noisier and rougher at start-up in the cold (-5 and lower) but completely smooths right up after a little warm up. -15 to -20 is considerably worse but smooths out the same way. I just plug her in for a couple of hours when it drops below -10 to speed the warm up time.
  14. Good thing Liz is with you can bring both the Smartie and Land Cruiser home with you.
  15. Looks like you are having a blast. Keep posting some pics. "Sally" sends her regards.
