  1. Aloha from Hawaii!!👋🏻 New owner to a 2011 Passion Coupe with 33k on it. Always wanted a smartie and now I have one! Not many here in the islands and I got lucky I stumbled across this one! I look forward to reading alotttttt if information about her! Lol
  2. I Thank you so much guys! I will check the oil as soon as I get her tomorrow. I want it to last awhile so the basic maintenance I can do I will. I ordered an extra drain plug and washers today so I’m not sure when they’ll get to me so I’m hoping if I do change the oil everything looks good on the plug and washer! How often should I be doing oil changes? On my Tacoma it’s done every 5k miles. Here she is at the shipping dock ready to get here, finally!! 😠
  3. Like the title states, these 2 seem to be the exact same thing. I didn’t know the pedal commander was made for the smart because all I’ve read was about the go pedal! I’ve got a pedal commander in my Tacoma and love it and am very familiar with it. I got the gopedal for my smart because thats what everyone is going with. I’ve yet to install it because the vehicle isn’t here yet and will be here next week!! Yay, finally! I can’t wait! So now I’m double guessing things! 😬 I’ve not read one person with the pedal commander on a smart, everyone has the gopedal so I guess that should tell me something right? Lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ Let me know what you guys think! 😊
  4. Yes, the pedal commander does cost more than the gopedal did. I just can’t find any posts of people with the pedal commander instead of the gopedal. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  5. Hi guys, i dont know if this is the right section to post this question in and if it isn't, someone please redirect it to the appropriate place. Anyway, i just had a question regarding the position of the front and rear wheels. The front wheels sit inward and the rears outward this i know, but has anyone measured the difference? I hope i'm making sense? lol I'm asking because i wanted to order wheel spacers and have them be here by the time i get my car so i can have them installed but am not sure what to go with. I'd want the tires to be flush or close to flush with the fender edge and i'm pretty sure i'd have to push the fronts out with either 15mm spacers or 20mm spacers but what do i do with the back? Or do i just put spacers on the fronts? I'd want it to be equal. Thank You.
  6. Yes, I suppose I just need to be patient and wait for the car to come! I‘m guessing I’ll either only put spacers on the front or I’ll have the fronts along with a small spacer on the rear. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sorry, I’m just being impatient! 😬
  7. I’m thinking I posted this in the wrong place. Either that or no one ever measured. 🤷🏻‍♀️
  8. Thank you so much for the advise! As soon as I get the vehicle I am going to check this out first thing! No paperwork on a recent oil change just word of mouth. I do know the engine is very dusty as I was looking for obvious leaks which thankfully I didn’t see!
  9. Can you tell if the oil needs to be changed just by looking at the dipstick? I’m getting a 2011 and it supposedly had an oil change in July but I’m not sure. Should I get another drain plug for the next oil change? Also, I’m in Hawaii and read so much different things on what oil to use it’s making me dizzy? Is this the right one I need to go with? Mobil 1 synthetic SAE 5W/30? Thank you.
  10. Thank you and I will for sure ask questions! 😃
