  1. Hi, I have just bought a 2006 cabriolet and discovered the roof will not open. I can hear the motor and see something moving along the edge of the roof which is what would move the roof to open or close but is probably not attached. Any ideas how to open the roof manually to check the mechanism?

    Hi everyone, my wife and I just bought a 2006 Smart CDI Grandstyle. We live near Cornwall, Ontario. Back in 2006 we leased a 2006 CDI Passion from Smart Mississauga near Toronto when we lived n that area. There was a crazy amount of enthusiasm about Smart in Canada at that time. We were part of a Smart cruise to Niagara with around 130 other CDIs. We bought this little guy as a second car and to tour around for fun. It needs some work but we're looking forward to getting it all fixed up and touring around the area
