  23. I knew it would get here, but not this quick. I stumbled across both ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ & ‘Elf’ on the same channel last weekend. SiriusXM radio changed their ‘40s channel to full time seasonal music. Already sick of the Twelve Days of Christmas and Little Drummer Boy. I got that every-child’s sinking feeling that my wish list wasn’t complete or even up to date. Earlier and earlier every year. Soon Labour Day will be held just to honour Santa and his worker elves. Halloween will require dressing up as your favourite reindeer, by law. I’m not ready! I’m not even ready to be ready! First snow here will seal the deal for me. What’s your trigger? What kick starts your ba-rumba-bum-bum?
