Have you run across a fuel level display flashing on an off? It's a steady on/off flash..not intermittent.
I guess it could be the resistors at the back of the instrument panel or a sender connection at the tank. I'm guessing resistors. Any thoughts/advice.
I would be very grateful for anything you can offer.

It's been 10 years since France!! Wish we could all go back.............
Quick question......my Surrey friend bought a pulse cabrio.....is there any way to install an automatic function to a manual transmission? She has trouble with all the shifting. Thanks!! Maria

Your friend should contact Fast Eddie in BC - he could do it but its probably expensive. In my experience the smarts that are manual shifted last longer.

Hello,
This is Stan, I am in Vancouver area.
I have a 2006 Smart fortwo passion edition, The SAM unit has water damaged circuit. The unit I have has the following markings on it
"SMART 00 11868 V013
SAM
Siemens VDO
5WK4 5090
Question for the experts here:
1) Do I need to find an exact match or can I swap with another newer or older (2005) SAM?
2) Is there anyone I can have my keys matched to it, and any programming (CLONING) that is on my unit?
