  1. They've removed DIESEL from their add (finally). Isn't that pretty much the price of a new '09??? I think they are outside of their field of expertise when it comes to the smarts. Cheers. http://www.haldimandmotors.ca/vehicle.aspx...0168&page=1
  2. Thank you Alberta. Maybe we'll see you on your next trip to Dover. Baby is due on the 4th of July. Cheers, Dave (and Maybel)
  3. Looking for the perfect way to carry the ultimate toy??? 2008 41' Cyclone Toy Hauler. "Toy Box" carries a payload of 2500 pounds and is 12' X 8'. We took our smart to Florida and back last winter no problem. When not in use there are two queen size electric beds that come down from the ceiling to make the perfect spare bedroom. Can also be left up and used as a laundry room, games room etc. The options are unlimited. It is triple axle for good weight distribution when loaded and tows like a dream. Towed it easily with an F-250 Super Duty (just added Super Springs). Comes with a 32' Flat Screen HD TV, two AC Units, Central Vac, 130 litre fuel tank with own filling station for your toys, lawn mowers etc, Rockford-Fosgate sound system, outside CD audio deck with four built in speakers, outside security camera with monitor in Master Bedroom, 550 watt built in generator. Will sleep up to 12 people. This trailer has it all. Paid $67k + taxes (with receipts) but must sell at great sacrifice due to purchase of our new house. This trailer must be seen to be appreciated. For more info or pictures and complete list of the many options or to view please call (519) 427-4889 or email mailto:daveyager@hotmail.com or through this site anytime. $48,500

  5. Sorry...I speak English I guess I'm Out
  6. Yes it has the straps. We an hour and a half from London. We will be going to London first of the week actually. Let me know if you are interested and I will drop it off. Cheers, Dave
  7. Bought a Voyager Smart Car Cover on Ebay this summer fo $80 plus shipping. Used once, car has been in garage all winter. $40 pick up in Port Dover or plus actual shipping costs anywhere else. Cheers.
  8. I'm not too worried about it. I told them. If a dealership can't tell the difference between a gasoline engine and a diesel engine they should be in another line of work. This dealership is the largest (by volume) used car dealership in Canada. So they will figure it out I'm sure. Dave
  9. Very good point about them putting diesel fuel in it. I phoned there this morning and told them about their mistake. Hopefully before they fueled it. But who knows. The manager I talked to just couldn't believe it and couldn't thank me enough. I told him he needed to thank the collective data base of knowledge from the Club Smart Car website. Good job guys. Cheers.
  10. Duh on my part...as you say there would only be 99 diesels. Guess these guys are really out to lunch promoting it as a diesel. Glad its cleared up. Something was outta whack. Thanx. Dave
  11. Seems to me, the way I read his post was that the 00 was bold indicating any 2 numbers. Don't know but that's the way I interpreted the VIN example he gave. I'm sure Mike will let us know. Cheers
  12. Here's the VIN# WMEEJ31X78K136207...must be a diesel according to how the VIN matches with what Mike was saying. Nice looking car. By the way ours is officially traded and we bought a 2007 Cobalt. Cheers
  13. I will post the VIN# here this afternoon...Cheers
  14. I am going back this morning. Will let you know what I find out. Even has a big sticker on the windshield that says "DIESEL". They have many mini trucks from Europe there with steering wheels on the right so maybe is a European import or something??? Quien sabe???
  15. http://www.haldimandmotors.ca/vehicle.aspx...0168&page=1 I thought from what I have heard/read/seen that these do not exist (in North America anyways). I asked the salesman about it last night when car shopping but it had just come in and he didn't know anything about it.
