  1. It was a blast having this little car, and we had a lot of fun going on smart runs with the great members of this forum. Now that we have a baby, this car will no longer meet our requirements. Looking for someone who would be able to care for it and enjoy it as we do. Bonuses: Conti winter tires on OEM steel rims. Custom handmade mesh seat covers. All service was done by the local MB dealership. New front brakes rotor and pads. The old ones were rubbing. Now with new brakes not rubbing, I can do consistent 4.8L/100km. One of a kind Angry Birds decal! Quirks: The flex pipe and the muffler has a leak - infamous for the 451s. I can get a quote to get it fixed if you want. Right now I'm just enjoying the pops and gurgles that sounds like a sports car lol. Factory touch screen sometimes freezes - still trying to figure out the cause. Was going to replace it with an Android head unit but never had the time now that we have a baby. Asking $5,000 O.B.O. ....... All services done by Mercedes Benz Let me know if you need further info. Please contact falcon.1898@gmail com or respond through this site
  2. The what3words app. can supply an unique address in the form of three words, for every 3x3 metre location on the surface of the planet. It's already being used to provide third world countries that never had a proper postal system, with a simple and effective addressing system. It is based upon the existing Global Positioning System. A link to a brochure which explains what3words in detail, follows: https://www.slideshare.net/WHAT3WORDS/what3words-brochure-english
  3. I'm not sure if this is specific to the ED, or if it's common to all 451 models with the nav/multimedia radio, but I've noticed in the last couple of days that when I'm running my iPod touch as the audio source, the sound occasionally drops out for half a second or so at random intervals. The iPod never did this when running line-out into the stereo of my old 450, so it seems like it's an issue with the new radio. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a solution?
