smart continental tire rack??

Does anybody have one of these??I would like to see a picture of one. I am going on a trip and would like to mount a spare on the rear of my car.My father inlaw who is a fabricator is gonna make it for me. Just need to seee some pics to get a rough idea and draw him up some plansthanks

go to smartieparts.com - he has pictures of such a thing - and also (plug) - he has the bolts you may very well want to make such a thing...

My spare wheel also sits safely behind driver’s seat together with Jack, wheel brace and bandenzak.

Perhaps Marinersk likes the look of a "continental" tire like the 50's and 60's styled NA cars.

I haven't got whitewalls on my smart, but I DO have them on my '89 Honda Civic.  White car with white walls looks nice in my HO.

might be easier to just build a small receiver type hitch for it ...then fab up a spare tire carrier attached to a 1 1/4 steel bar to fit in the hitch
