Nice mod even though I couldn't understand a word of caption lol.Hey, you guys think we can use that as rear foglights? I mean we are allowed two (if there's only one, it must be on the driver's side)

Similar but different - good approach - mine will be done shortly - pictures at 11 - at least I know what it will look like now. I intend on tracking down the connection for the bike rack third light - saves having to do the fuse thing etc.Cheers,Cameron

Should be - they use the same hollow tube - probably about the same diameter.

Since the secret project has been outed - here are some details-

I got my stuff from these guys but if you have big rig shop in town they probably have it too - very common items - the links give the standard part #'s too

LED lights

Chrome rings

Grommet

Pigtails

These guys have the clear amber side markers too and some cool LED courtesy lights. Didn't have any issues ordering from them - good service - no hassles at the border - and cheap cheap cheap!

I dug everything out so should have some pictures this weekend of my approach.

Cheers,

Cameron

I considered mounting some 8 balls in the dedion tubes using those grommets; however, I had visions of them coming loose while I was doing 150 kph and killing someone...

Just got to use the right adhesive - and get the right tube cleaning brush - just don't let the wife catch you - and if you are squeemish - get a new one -post-375-1212346840_thumb.jpg - no that is not residue on it - it is some adhesive of some sort.Cheers,Cameron

Can someone help clarify for me where he is tapping into the electrical system? Is it at the back? Doesn't look familiar to me.

Loom coming from the tail light - I am going to use the existing on tucked up under the fender for the bike rack 3rd brake light - saves the fun of cutting and splicing. Hopefully I will get some time in the morning.Cheers,Cameron

Thanks! Have you considered running a seperate circuit from the fuse box? You're already familiar with the fuse holder.

Why waste wire? - the one for the bike rack is designed for the electrical load and nice and handy. Pictures as I do it.Cheers,Cameron
