smart 451 BRABUS edit10n registry

After the success of the grandstyle and nightrun registries, I thought it would be time to get a registry going for the BRABUS edit10n cars that were limited to ten units only for Canada. Since there are only ten of them in the whole of Canada, there is some chance that we might eventually find them all. So far we have four on the list, as below:

Two of the spotted cars did not have dash plaques with the number out of ten visible!

There are six more out there. If anyone sees one in a dealership or on the street, please record the location and the last six numbers of the VIN! Cheers

It's cheap compared to the $108,000 451 BRABUS smart I sat in on the BRABUS stand at the Frankfurt auto show a few months ago! I should imagine that stripping the car to the bare tridion for the respray and reassembling it again after the whole car is metallic grey is the majority of the cost.

I don't have The VIN's but one was sold to Robert Herjavec from Dragons Den and two others were sold in Toronto - one to a guy that lived in Toronto and one that lived just north of the city.

It looks like you have two of them on your list, but not Herjavecs which IIRC was car 1/10 and the very first one sold.

Thank you, so I have identified the unknown one as No.4 on the basis of your information and have a lead on finding the VIN of No.1 so thanks again!

Bit of advice, get Mercedes to write you up a certificate of authenticity for the car if you haven't already. They're very special, being BRABUS Tailor Made, and therefore are worth a lot more than a regular 2009 smart. In the dealer system, it would show up as a regular passion.
