How To Disable Abs/traction Control On A 451

6 posts in this topic

I searched, and surprisingly did not find this posted anywhere.A "friend" of mine just taught me an interesting trick. If you want to temporarily disable the ABS/traction control/stability control on a 451, all you have to do is:-press and hold the two buttons to the left and right of the odometerpost-3521-1263927934_thumb.jpg-with buttons pressed, start car.Makes it a two person operation unless you have a tool that can press both buttons at once.To return to normal, just turn off the car and restart.Easy-peasy!!!!Now, if only there was a way to do it on the 450's!!! Still looking at finding a way..Again, use this at your own risk....blah blah blah blah...

How can the status of the affected system be confirmed? Would the ABS and ESP lamps remain lit to confirm the disabling of these functions?
