Thanks Roy!It WAS a small bill. A wiring harness was chafing and the repair cost $140. Thanks to TPM for the fast diagnosis and the decent pricing. We're in Vancouver now and off to Alberta Saturday.Good news!

Hi Mike

Just got the same P0705 code today and read your post regarding the chaffed wiring repair by your good friends TPM. Do you recall where the repair was made  that caused this problem? I'm guessing the wiring at the actuator harness?

Actuator harness near the intercooler scoop.  Should be obvious when you get down there.

Thanks Mike!

I noticed a very slight cut of the insulator on one of the leads to the actuator harness, it doesn't appear to be cut very deep just enough to expose the copper wire.

Do you think that just the exposure is the issue? If one strand is cut is that enough to affect the signal?

Possibly, dry it out with Combat Spray or similar and then re-insulate.  Check all the others carefully.
