I'm not me! Logged in as another user?

Soooo.... This one is a bit strange.

Moments ago I was trying to reply to THIS thread, but after I logged in, it said "You don't have permission to post in this thread". Odd, I thought, but I went back, closed the tab and re-opened the thread. It was then that I noticed I was logged in as "The Rog Man". What!?!

It seems like it knew that was not who I was, because I wasn't able to post, but it was surprising none the less. Using Firefox 5, Windows 7, but this one seems very very odd to me. It has since stopped happening, but I tried a few times and it kept happening (Logged in as myself on the home page of CsC, then Rog Man on threads).

Definitely look into this!

Yeah - there seems to be some server issues - I went to do attachments and no dice - I will do a shut down restart latter tonight - but I suspect it is an issue with the server itself not the forum. So for the interim - enjoy the ride - not every day you get to be somebody else.Cheers,Cameron

Without logging in, if you refresh either the forum or home page enough times you will eventually be 'logged in' as one of the users currently logged in.

I am checking at the database level - seems to be some errors for missing files for skins - working on finding the root cause.Cheers,Cameron

Just encountered the same problem after the reboot. Both cookies and cache were cleared before the test.

Unfortunately my time is a bit constrained the next bit so it may be a few days until everything is corrected. I will do some more research on the issue as the usual fixes haven't resolved everything.Cheers,Cameron

Made some changes - please let me know if the issues re-occur. IPB is funky - the presentation layer (what you guys see) affects a lot of stuff so if something goes astray it has big effect. The data in the background is doing okay though so don't worry about that.Cheers,Cameron
