Hi,

The Club smart Car BoD has determined to restrict the ability of all regular members to 'reply' to threads within the Member Classifieds section.

That doesn't mean however, that you won't be able to contact a member who has listed something.

You may use the 'private message' (PM) function, or, contact the member via e-mail if they have chosen to list their e-mail address in the listing. Sometimes people even list a phone #.

We will trial this change for a period of 90 days minimum. The change was made due to issues with Member Classified topics turning into 'discussions'.... something we are intentionally discouraging.

Members posting in the Member Classified forums should be aware we will be stricter with posting guidelines. The main items we would like you to be aware of, are to keep your listing up to date with pricing, location, and of course, your contact info. If you aren't going to check your Personal Messages consistently, then please provide an e-mail address for contact purposes.

The Member Classifieds are a well used and valuable resource at CsC.

The policy of not allowing replies within the threrads themselves will remain in place.Remember to post your e-mail and/or phone # if you are selling.Buyers and other interested parties can also reply by 'PM' (Private Message.)
