The Tuesday following the Canada Day long weekend might be a bit of a stretch for some folks, so Glenn and I thought a little drive to Mackie's in Port Stanley would be fairly easy for everyone, followed by the obligatory stop at Shaw's for ice cream.On Tuesday, July 02 we'll meet up around 6:00 PM at Mackie's for a bite, followed by a caravan to Shaw's for dessert.With any luck we'll see some pretty girls in bikinis (or some muscular guys in Speedos, if you'd rather). Well surprise! We ended up with 10 cars and a few new faces. Here's a few pictures of the group at our second stop. (Shaw's ice cream) Picture #1 is our former president and his new bride (Glenn and Liz) in the centre of the shot.

A good time was had by all, I hope.Nice to see some regulars along with a few new faces and one very old face (old member, that is).Seems like Dave and his wife haven't be to a Smart outing in a hundred years.... It's great to see 'Wee Benz' with the Scottish flag in the back window.We'll plan another burger / ice cream run to Port Stanley sometime next summer.Looking forward to a big turnout to the Plunkett estate for August's charity Show & Shine event.We hope to see everybody there. The sign-up sheet is already posted.
