Hi there, its interesting reading on this forum about electric Fortwos. We have not had much uptake of the electric smart in the UK, although the pricing is good compared to other electric car models out there. The answer is 33 electric fortwos for 2013 as link below.

I think what is puting people off is the lack of range available compared to a fuel driven Fortwo, where you can just top up in any gas station. 'Battery technology/range' still needs to be improved a lot before more people will buy.

You must have done a lot of real time driving over the months you have owned it.

Questions by non-electric owners would be...

How far you can get on one charge?

Cost of electricity for one night charge?

Does hills affect your range, I bet it does?

Do you have to plan your journey route and control your speed, to make sure you get there?

Do you feel sometimes you are not going to get home before charge runs out?

What happens if your charge runs out, can you plug in somewhere?

Do you have to manage your cabin heating and driving lights, as that must affect remaining charge?

Is it relatively quiet in the cabin?

Do pedestrians jaywalk out in front of you, as your so quiet

Your experience on the above would be interesting reading.
