Cruz'in on Thursday August 03, 2017

I've set up this year's annual participation in Steve Plunkett's weekly Charity Cruz'In night for Thursday August 03rd.

Once again I requested and received confirmation that the Smart cars can once again ring the pond in the 'featured car' area.

Same as last year, with vehicle entry by donation.  Smarties must be generous because they keep having us back.

I look forward to a big turnout.  Maybe an opportunity to provide a hint of any Canada150 Harvestfest parade decorations you're planning.

No sign-up needed, as there's ample room to display as many Smart cars as can come.

Further info to follow.

Just a reminder to pencil in Thursday August 03rd for our annual summer charity gathering.

Once again Smart cars will be the featured 'marque' at the Lions Club's weekly Charity Cruz'In hosted by Steve Plunkett on the grounds of his beautiful estate.

As mentioned above, we've once again garnered the featured display area surrounding the pond. Picture perfect !!  Let's have a big turnout.

There's burgers, hotdogs and lots of draws, including the big 50/50 draw.

So be sure to come hungry and lucky.  The evening runs from 5:00 till dusk.

Information and location.....  http://www.countrycruizin.com/

Here's a picture collage posted from a past event.

Make sure you check their web site on Thursday afternoon to confirm the event hasn't been cancelled due to rain.

http://www.countrycruizin.com/

Inclement weather will cause the event to be cancelled for the week.

As of 9PM on Tuesday, it's not looking good, according to Environment Canada....

We've had very good luck over the years.

Everybody keep your fingers crossed.

It's not looking too promising weather-wise for this evening.

Bernie's must not like Glenn., 'cause his multi-page link doesn't work for everybody.

Try this link.....

Make sure you get directions to their Byron pub if needed.

Sorry to hear.  I'm staying home as I don't want to be out with the risk of thunder and lightning in my cabriolet.  Hope to get out sometime.

To all who made it out, congratulations.  I was planning on it, but personal issues prevented it.

I hope all had a good time anyway.
