I just bought my Smart car .. 2003 It was Imported from Germany to USA by local Dr.. and only has 22K miles.. Darn near brand new..

Now I gotta binge read ALL your older posts to get caught up with service / Mods / Tricks ...

Oh what an adorable little Smartie! Mine's blue/silver too. You'll love catching up on all things Smart. Youtube has a lot of fun videos too. I've been buying little do-dads for mine just for fun, like color matching valve caps, seatbelt shoulder pads and the like. They're so much fun for little money. I'm not mechanically minded so I haven't done anything fancy.

How is that registered? About 1000 of the first generation smarts were converted by G&K in LA but this is not one of them!

I have a smart car addiction and plan on keeping some 450's on the road for a long time.

I've parted out 5 and keep the parts stored indoors. Keep me in mind if you're ever looking for a hard to find part.
