Not yet. I think i found the connector but it got dark and i had to retire for the evening. Hoping we get a clear day soon so i can try again.

Here's some pics of a smart with the AC compressor. To get at the solenoid connector I had to remove the water inlet.

This was after the engine was lowered. The new female connector is yellow in the picture. (was difficult to work on)

The last picture shows the water inlet installed and the solenoid connector barely visible behind, illuminated by a small flashlight.

here is a location picture for touching the solenoid connector from above ...useful for emergency wiggling in a parking lot if you have a stick and a flashlight

 

screwdriver tip is touching the connector

Now that the snow is gone i can finally work on this thing! No crank but hopefully a good update tonight. Thanks for all the pictures guys! i think ill have some luck today.
