'' I am a certified welder for over 30 yrs and 3rd generation mechanic. My grand pappy, pappy and my uncles were all mechanics. We ate slept and spent more time in the garage than with our wives. I have a 2006 Brabas  just out of the spray booth from a color change. It looks identical to this one. Any more questions?''

Sure. How did you get interested in smart cars and how long have you had one?

And where did you find a 2006 Brabas?

You might want to consider building or repairing a smart exhaust because there is a demand for them and you are an experienced welder.

I envy all the experience you would have gained from your relatives.

In my case my grandfather bought a Model T back in 1910 in Manitoba, learned how to fix them and was a self taught mechanic for over 25 years. He blamed the poor working conditions for his failing health. Unfortunately he was retired when I knew him but he did teach me to drive when I was 8 years old. Like him, I am self taught and lack so much mechanical experience.

I'm sure we can gain a lot from your wisdom.

Which begs the question: what the heck is a Brabas?  A badass BRABUS? ;)
