Hello. I have only just become the proud owner of a 2005 Fortwo diesel with only 93,000 kms. I have had the engine light come on and my code reader tells me two errors: P0402 and P0409. That seems to be an EGR issue but I can't seem to find a repair manual anywhere. Any ideas?

Welcome to the club.

There does not seem to be a manual available but between this site and https://www.evilution.co.uk/ you will find most of the info you require.  Here is a start to clean the egr.

Don’t worry about the special tool a large pair of vice grips will grab the outside of the cartridge and once you get it wiggling back and forth you should be able to pull it out.
