Honk on Lock?

Read through the manual and can’t find it anywhere. Any option on a 451 Smart ForTwo to have the vehicle do a short beep when locking from the key fob?

No such option.  The lights flash and if you are close enough to the car you can hear the doors lock.

I'd prefer my 2018 Smart ED not beep on lock.

Annoying in a residential street so I leave my car unlocked most of the time when parked in my own driveway.   Ssshhh don't tell anyone.

Fair enough. Though so far with the cars I’ve owned, the ones that do beep do it very shortly and quietly. So much so that it’d be quite difficult to wake neighbors up coming home. Ioniq, I-miev, Tesla model 3 come to mind.

If the factory alarm system is fitted you get the standard Mercedes 3 beeps when you lock the car with the fob.  No factory alarm, no beeps.
