I've now checked Delphi and have confirmed all it can do on a 454 is operate ABS/ ESP valves for brake bleeding.

I also found some info on the internal workings of clutch actuator which may be of interest:

Nice. However, it's not easy to understand all the mechanics inside.

A young Shetlander sadly no longer with us once told me enough whisky will make your brain windings spin faster so give that a try.

As an update: I have changed the clutch kit with a Sachs one, about 2 weeks ago, and no Reveres issue since then but still no creep function. Anyway I suspect that has something to do with other than clutch, maybe some ESP/ABS switch or something.

I just wanted to share the update ! Thank you for your support!

Just wondering if the clutch cost you your firstborn.

MW-Smart sells SACHs clutches....I bought one....cheaper than anywhere else I could find a clutch.....even after shipping etc etc.....go see...you'll be shocked at some of their prices...!

Clutch and releaser are cheap for a 454 Smart, only £114 with UK delivery.

OK if you change it all yourself but expensive if done by dealer or garage due to high labour cost.

The install cost was a little bit more than 100£
