Is there anyway to convert a soft top to a hard top.

I was wondering if there is anyway to convert a soft top to a hard top. A friend of mine works in a salvage yard and he says it's interchangeable. Having trouble finding parts to fix my crappy cabriolet top.

I'm not that far from you as Owen Sound is only 25 minutes away from me.

I have a 2005-6 parts car as well as my 05 Passion.

The parts car has the glass roof my driver has a solid roof.

If you want to compare your soft top against a coupe to see what's involved we could arrange a meet up.

My concern for this conversion is the rear side Windows have a rear steel frame from the b pillars to the rear of the body as well as a cross bar for the rear glass attachment points.

I don't believe this conversion is as easy as your friend thinks it'll be.

Hmmmmmm.......not sure how it's going to happen without cutting the roof pillars etc from both cars at the exact place and then hoping the body dimensions are the same internally as well as externally....I know of a much easier way....lol.
