Hmmmm.....Look what I found that popped up on my amazon search......?

I think this is an interesting addition to the car instead of that stupid stock plug. Bore it into the front cowling in a nice enough location and no more digging for the plug in 2 feet of snow next winter. Plus it's a standard type plug.  I like it.

i think we discussed those once in a block heater thread

 

they are nice but kind of expensive i thought

 

originally designed for boats to access shore power if my memory remembers

a prankster type owner could probably get a few laughs and confused looks by mounting into the air intake cover

I replaced my original one with a standard plug type.  Spring loaded cover that has a seal to keep the crud out and it's chromed.  Still in the original location, but I don't have any issues reaching it.
