Well it was only a matter of time before I added another one to the fleet. The wife loved the 451 so much she wanted her own.  Found this 453 in Calgary and absolutely LOVE it so far. Picked it up yesterday.

I assume that you assume that he gave the wife the 451 and kept the Renault for himself?

Nah, the design is where the magic is, not the manufacturing.

 

On a slightly related topic Renault are the only manufacturer in the world that can take the raw materials and make a car from them, all the others rely on other manufacturers. They even have their own vineyards, maybe that is why their cars are so goddam awful to work on.

One of my friends in France is a Renault powertrain packaging engineer. His personal cars are Peugeots, couple of 404s. LOL!
