Of course I am going to say that I can make it. I am always up for a drive. By the way - where is Cochrane? Never been there.

looks like I won't have to work on June 10th, I am 99% sure I can make it for this one, as long as I'm still allowed to join you guys in my Fit :D

The fit fits. Ha ha.

Or how about, what can you fit in it, it's soooo small?

Or, I hope you don't have a fit when your car gets squished.

Or, if the car is so 'in shape', why is it soooo ugly?

Yada yada.

(Yeah, I crack me up too - I made the last three on the fly...)

We haven't worked out details yet (I still have to tell the wife about it!) but I'm hoping one of us or all of us can make it out for this meet with or without our smart. Now that we have a baby boy we just can't go to these things by ourselves and we can't take him with us in the smart. So either one of us goes, or we all pile into our 4 door car and leave the smart at home or take both.

We'll have a special guest with us:

6) bsmart (maybe jr. bsmart and mrs bsmart)

Hey, we'd love to see the new smartie - don't worry about the car!! :cheeky:

(After all, we went to a smart weekend with out the car!)

Bit of an odd request, but I am looking for a short-term wheel trade - like one week.

I want to drive to Calgary in my coreline wheels (175/195), but want to go to SK in sportlines or stylelines (145/175) for fuel economy reasons. (I am trying to beat my previous 113 mpg imperial - actually, I am trying to beat 100 mpg US more precisely).

Anyway, I could actually ship my own sportlines to my company's Calgary terminal, and do a switch there... but I thought I would ask.

That is an odd request. Why do the two legs on two different tires?

Anyway, I "should" have some stylelines if all goes well that you can probably use.

Later!

I'm not interested in overall mileage of the trip... unlike last year. This time, I just need to get 2.35 L/100km somewhere...

Mike and I are figuring 4-5% worse economy with the Corelines, which is too big of a number to chance.

But the Corelines are sooo nice to drive with. Bye bye understeer...

Great!

Assuming you are heading East along Crowchild:

If you head north on Nose Hill Drive off of Crowchild,

take a left at the second light (there is a Liquor store on the North West Corner)

Then head straight through the next light (use the right lane) into the parking lot of the outdoor mall.

The Starucks is about 2/3 of the way down on the right - inside Chapters.

By the way - where is Cochrane? Never been there. Ross

Sorry, meant to answer this...

It is on a secondary highway that is north and runs parallel to the one heading to Banff.

Nice place down a BIG hill. It's a popular place for hang gliding.

Ice cream place used to make their own - but rumor has it they sell Lucern now - still yummy!

I'm looking forward to being in Calgary!

It looks like I will be switching out my wheels before I leave - seems to be the easiest way to go... it just means I still won;t be able to drive like Mike T through the mountains. (How does he do it?)

Better than ice cream these days (for me) - I have been enjoying plain goat yogurt with frozen organic blueberries. Yum. But I'm looking forward to a lick of licorice or something along those lines.

Uh, that would be Highway 1A (Crowchild trail turns into this at the city limits) Cochrane is at the junction of 1A and 22, in the Bow River Valley. MacKay's Ice Cream is right downtown.
