      would anyone have a close up picture of how the spring is held in position on the fuel door? my fuel door wont stay closed, i removed the fuel door assembly and found a metal spring had fallen off.  i just have to figure out how to reattach it. thanks.

      Fantastic! Thank you so much. The physical engine is from a 54hp model. All the electronics and computers are from the 450 and are still intact. The only thing that might give me slight pause right now is the injectors and the high-pressure pump that screw to the side of the head to the cam. The sensors I have are all 54hp models but they just gather the readings they don't do any smart stuff I think. If need be I will buy new ones though.

      Feel free to PM me and IF I am not glued to the TV, I'll do my best...lol.
      I wouldn't install any of the emissions onto the engine that the 450 didn't come with. I'd get yourself a set of computers from a 450 and start working with that as a target. IF you don't have a set I may have a spare set, which I could program to speak to each other, maybe? No promises seeing as it also depends upon what wiring harness you are using. After the BS I'm going through with my electrical I'd be very careful about trying to miss match the wiring to the computers.....and sensors.

      Oh, my god @Willys that was you! HAHAHA, I didn't even put two and two together. I just saw that a person had exactly what I needed and commented. I will tell you both that I do not even care about the wires at this point. I just want it together and to get my kitchen back haha. And yeah that blind reach into the abyss is a rough one for sure lol. I am still short about 25 small parts that I will likely have a friend in Europe purchase for me. So with the two of you, it looks like I have an owner of each vehicle which is great.   I did contact Evilution just because why not so I have that in my back pocket. I didn't know that the 06 450 CDI didn't make it to the UK until he told me. So I guess Canada and Germany? He didn't have much experience with either actually but he could probably help with the LS swap. 

      He pointed out that the 54hp was ruined both for reliability and performance with all the emission parts. And that the 450 had little to none of those parts. I have purchased some of those 54hp emission parts so I wanted to know what specifically they were so I could just not install them and keep to the original spec. Once I get this all put together then I can really worry about getting the body all fixed up.   @Willys should I just PM you for all the really small nitty gritty questions or keep it here?   This is all such good news and I am so excited!
