@  Mike T : (27 July 2016 - 06:53 PM) good plan
@  Surturiel : (27 July 2016 - 05:52 PM) I'm going to pay Eddie a visit, get that flash happening, and put some wider shoes
@  Mike T : (25 July 2016 - 10:05 PM) Good!
@  Surturiel : (25 July 2016 - 09:23 PM) sooo, I'm starting to mature the idea of driving from vancouver to Halifax...
@  Th3Guardian : (23 July 2016 - 03:55 PM) Wondering if anyone has a performance exhaust for a 451 in Ontario
@  BabyBenz : (23 July 2016 - 03:03 PM) Shuanghuan Noble
@  BabyBenz : (23 July 2016 - 03:02 PM) Came across an interesting article about a Chinese auto manufacturer that cloned the Smart Fortwo - was sued for copyright infringement but the suit failed.
@  smartzuuk : (21 July 2016 - 11:20 AM) no bites yet on the canada1.... it's still at 98,xxx kms with brand new tires and if someone is interested, let me know.... because if the Volvo goes first, the smart will come off the chopping block
@  Nigel : (19 July 2016 - 03:45 PM) Talk to Glenn smart142. I know he has been in contact with another welder about repairing stock mufflers.
@  Mike T : (19 July 2016 - 01:21 PM) Does Eddy in BC have a decent used one?
@  BabyBenz : (19 July 2016 - 12:44 PM) Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on expensive muffler replacement at Mercedes or try and have an exhaust shop make a hopefully cheaper custom replacement.
@  Henry : (14 July 2016 - 03:13 PM) Carrot river is in north east Saskatchewan.
@  Henry : (14 July 2016 - 03:12 PM) Ya the cruise helps a lot. i have taken my smart as far east as Carrot river and as far south as palm springs. Quite comfy for the driver but the passenger doesn't get a reclining seat.
@  Mike T : (14 July 2016 - 06:29 AM) Yup. Top tip: Get cruise control, if you don't already have it.
@  Surturiel : (14 July 2016 - 06:09 AM) hmmm... So, just the usual (change oil, check everything), cram the car full of junk and head for 8 days of road?
@  smartzuuk : (14 July 2016 - 04:47 AM) It won't change things enough to matter... I've driven all the way from BC to Labrador and return on the stock wheels and tires....
@  Surturiel : (13 July 2016 - 11:48 PM) Should I put on wider wheels for the trip? would that make it more bearable? (roadster steelies+conti procontacts)
@  Mike T : (13 July 2016 - 06:18 PM) No problem. I did Toronto to Vancouver Island in 4 days!

The other day, by the looks of it, an air filter fell out onto my feet? Does anyone have any idea if it is the cabin air filter or what it is? Also if it is important or how I can put it back? I looked but can't see where it goes? :o

If you look behind the pedals to the right there's a slot with a cover on it for the cabin air filter, open the cover and slide it back in.Hope this helps!

Thank you both so much! It went right back in place - easy when you know what you're doing. ;)

Wow, it's so much easier to change a 451 cabin filter than it is in a 450!

Many 450s came without the pollen filter, like my 2005 Pulse. I think it was an option selected by the buyer.B :sun:
