Very excited! So Alex and I will be staying in Jasper for Sat night.

So much for all good to go...went to check tire pressure, and the caps were seized! Used a pair of pilers to hold the stem - ended up damaging one of stem and leaked all the air out. So...I pulled out the new-to-me set of Brabus Monoblock that I've acquired last year! Still wish I could find a set of Crossblade wheels - that I can afford. These will do for now.

Pulled Red Pxl out from winter storage today! Hooked up the battery, and voila, fired right up. Oil was changed before I parked it for the winter....all ready to go! Current odometer is 161594km. Where are you at @MikeT?

The future is obvious Keith...."GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER and buy a Smart Car!" lol I'm definitely open to organizing and maybe even restructure CsC - Starting with filling in admin/mods/Board..etc positions that have been long vacant. I was able to use Smartzuuk's login and created myself a new profile as an admin (temporarily of course)...I do not intend to hold this role as I have zero knowledge in website/forum management nor do I have the time. Those interested in this particular role or others, please contact me via pm or email (stickman007@gmail.com).

Just for clarification, you’re right interested in the hose that connects the EGR to the intake manifold? The one you have with the picture? I’ll have @Avenge95 pull one out of the car (he might already have one off) and give you a quote with shipping. Him and I share our part cars together. Alternatively, there’s a smart car/Mercedes guy out by Richmond BC. His site has one for $78 + tax brand new (OEM MB part). https://shop.flyingtiger.ca/index.php?p=product&id=2745 He’s known as Eddy Lai and he’s actually here on the forum as well.

I’ve always tried to stick with the brand Febi. Their quality is fairly consistent. -
Hi Isme, I will start another thread and tag you. Izzy

Here it is...our 4th nerd fest! I've txted a few previous attendees...most agreed that this can take place Jun 1st. This is not exclusive, please pass the thread to someone you know or just show up if you want! This is the plan: 7am - meeting at Stony Plain Tim Hortons (https://maps.app.goo.gl/2tnt2sQ63tdvvRWQ7) 7:30am - leaving Tim Hortons and taking hwy 627 or 39 and then eventually taking hwy 22 to Rocky Mountain House. 9:45am - Arrive at Rocky Mountain House. We can stop for Breakfast/Snacks and gas here. 10:30am - leaving Rocky Mountain House and taking hwy 11 to Saskatchewan Crossing 12:30pm - arrive at Saskatchewan Crossings. We can stop for food and or gas here. 1:30pm - leaving Saskatchewan Crossings and taking hwy 93 towards Jasper. I don't have an exact schedule, we can decide on the fly or later. There are a few things to see and do along the way: Athabasca Glacier/Columbia Ice Field Tours/Sunwapta Falls/Athabasca Falls/Jasper Tramp...etc. Tentatively 5-6pm - Jasper for supper. After supper, the rally officially ends, but most likely Alex and I would stay in either Jasper or Hinton. Feel free to join us, or you can go back to Edmonton via hwy 16. 1) Izzy and Alex (stickman007) 2) Jason and Ashley @Avenge95 3) Robin @Iratama 4) Jeff @WhiteyJr 5) Gilbert @gilrob 6) Andrew @Aj12 7) Jonathan and Kid @YEGSmartie 😎 Shane and Laura 9) Ben and Cerina 10) Mark Rose - may join us in Rocky Mountain House

You should be able to download the ECM file with the KWP2000+ (same tool for uploading tunes). One of the more popular programs used to edit the file is WinOLS. Once you have the immo address on the file, changing a few digits is not difficult. I don't know of a reliable source to do checksum, rumour has it that some people will do it for free or around $10-20 each time. Upload the file and try once you get to this step. Have fun! don't brick the ECU!

This is as far as I know: There is a relay looking antenna under the handbrake cover. That receives the signal from your FOB. It then goes through to the SAM and translated into data. The ECM approves/declines the immo data and allows the SAM to turn everything on. The cluster has to be coded to the vehicle, but it's not part of the immo process other than displaying the key symbol. You can take send your ECM or do a hex dump file to some less than reputable sites - they can delete the immo portion of the file/ecm. I will not name any sites here, but pm me if you're desperate. If you just want to lock/unlock the doors without playing it the immo. You can just splice into the door wires to/from the SAM like guys that do remote starters - pinouts can be found on evilution. It appears that the 005 and 007 are interchangeable based on my research. Some of the eBay listings actually shows both numbers for the replacement parts compatible. But, if you want a used one, I do have a few. -

I personally didn't take too many pics - I'll ask Alex for hers later. Can you find our group? Missing @Avenge95 here Jasper Pizza - not bad at all! Thank you @cerinalee for dinner! Too bad we're missing @Aj12 + Reese for dinner. I have a great pic of them cooking at the glaciers, but I'll ask for permission before posting!

Finally pulled mine out for the season. Current mileage is 153888km. @MikeT I guess it’s clear, I have no choice but to move to BC! -
I have bad news too. Due to unforeseen issues that came up, Alex and I will have to skip out on the Friday meet up. We will meet you guys on route somewhere on Hwy93 on Saturday.
