Thanks everyone. Glenn checked it out, seems it was the EGR valve, but haven't had any problems since so hopefully it will be ok for awhile.

Today my wife started having trouble with her 2006 Pulse. Frequently the car would not accelerate past 30 or 50 km/h. Switching between automatic and manual temporally fixed the problem. The car sounds fine, so I'm wondering if it might be an electronic problem. Is there anything I can check before taking it in for service? We have only had the car a month and a half. And haven't gotten it serviced yet. Any recommendations for where to take it in the London On area?
