Exhaust Update!!Mercedes did an inspection and found that they failed to bolt the exhast to the mounts when they replaced the turbo - new exhaust at their expence - phew!!Thanks guys!!

Hi Folks,Here I go again - this is my favorite place for answers.... After removing and renewing my alternator, replacing my rear window and a brand new turbo - my exhaust just fell off!It's gone!! On the QEW Westbound around Walkers Line and its vanished!! By the time I came off - checked and went back it was gone. So what are my options folks for a new exhaust - PS Im still broke from the turbo!And when this is done my baby will be for sale - almost a new car again as you can see!!!!Adrain

So far it is perfect - no leaks and no issues. We have had some pretty heavy rain storms and it is perfect. For the record - the window is the same size - they didnt want to remove the old one completely as they said this would have led to leaks because of the way it is manufactured. It is a great job and I love it!Adrain

Sure - I had a nice 4" split on the right hand side around the centre of the window. As well as that the years had taken a toll and although I could still see through it, I now know it was pretty crappy!The guys separated the top and rear sections, removed them and cut out the old window. They then double stitched the new window in and sealed it from the inside. Because of how the original is sealed in they felt it would leak if they removed it completely. Its a great job and I love it. Im not that technical so feel free to give them a call and ask - they love to chat and soft tops are their speciality!Adrain
