Well, if it wasn't official before, it is now. I am a smart-aholic. I headed out to Concord this morning and picked up a second smart. A cabrio. A 450 cabrio. A Scratch Black 450 Cabrio. I own the set It's Diesel Dave's old smart, a 2006 Passion. Overall it seems to be in very good condition, but I want to add paddles and cruise. It seems to still have the Technine Stage 2 remap that Dave had on it before, which is quite peppy. I'd say it drives better than my coupe, as well as being a lot quieter. Yay!

The evening of July 26th, I picked up 3 large boxes from the Ottawa FedEx facility (No, not a chance they would have fit into the smart - I took a Civic... It was a tight squeeze even in that!). Inside the boxes was.... A full set of Scratch Black panels! I had ordered them from smart-parts-direct, and they were shipped out on the 21st. Since the panels were entirely separated, I had to assemble the nose cone and the back portion in advance. It's quite interesting to put together that much car in the living room! On the 27th, I swapped from my stream green panels to the awesomely fantastic Scratch Black. Wooooooooooooo! After some driving and polishing, she finally looked like this! And of course, Angel Eyes have become all the rage now, so I had to add some of those... And I believe Ottawa now holds the title of Cubic Capital of Canada (Or C3), with a grand total of 2 sets of cubic panels!
