    HI all, Thanks for letting me join. I have a 2006 Fortwo that has an odd issue. Reading through older questions I assume I have a duff brake switch but would like to confirm. My Right (its LHD) rear brake light stopped working. I opened to check the bulb and found the terminal strip had got hot and receded into the plastic breaking continuity to the bulb. I removed the plastic and the bulb worked again - so far so good. On testing both brake lights work but the top rear windscreen strip does not light. When I press the brakes the dashboard backlight dims completely (current draw?) When I put the headlights on, the brake lights come on (not touching the pedal). Do you think the switch is defective? Nobody has touched any of the wiring etc. Thanks Matt
