I have a 2006 fortwo diesel that my son basically did a full rebuild on. Cylinders, pistons, rings, timing chain and guides, valves, starter, alternator etc. Most it was for fun. But suddenly this week the car has lost all power. It will fire up and idle for about 20 seconds and then just dies. You can't move it at all. Since we are getting power to the fuel pump we think the fuel pump is just done. So I figure I'd replace the pump and filter right away and maybe the crank sensor if its accessible? BUT I've been searching for a place that sells fuel pumps and haven't found anything. Where are you guys, ordering things from? Any places in Canada?

Hello I'm parting out my 2005 smart fortwo cdi. One of the valves got damaged from the rocker and it isn't worth fixing anymore. Besides that everything else worked great. 2 of 3 injectors were recently rebuilt. New crank sensor. New fuel regulator. High pressure pump still cranks at 379 bar. Alternator and starter both work great. Summer tires on alloys and winter tires on steelies. Turbo, muffler. Let me know what you need and we can work something out! Everything is available still! -
Hi Guys, Does anyone know where there is a smart car breakers yard on the south east please? I need air con radiator and rear bumper and indicators on the wing for a mark 1 smart car? TIA E -

Hello I'm in search of the foam floor panel that covers the battery compartment for my 2006 Fortwo it was not in the car when when I got it and dealer must have lost it anyway if you have one I would be interested Thank you Traci . -

Hello, First post - I have a 2005 CDI convertible and need some trim parts and convertible parts. Is there a master list of parts numbers somewhere or can it be searched online? Also is there any recommendations as to where to buy these kinds of parts? Thanks -
Mechanic recently told us we need to change our parking neutral safety switch on our 2013 Smart Fortwo, but for some reason we can’t find the part anywhere online. Can anyone point me in the right direction? -
Looking for a yellow passenger door panel, for a 2006 450 pulse, to replace one damaged in an accident.

Just before a courtesy cop got into a fight with a profanity user and got my thread shut down I learned that another saskatoon resident has also had parts stolen. I had my wheels and tires taken, but he had a crank sensor taken. I think we need to keep track of these local thefts because it sure sounds like there's a dishonest smart car owner in town ordering parts off our cars! So I'm starting a new thread for this, if you are in Saskatchewan, or even the prairie provinces, and have parts stolen, please tell us here.

SOLD. I have a smart 450 pure that is being turned into parts. The poor old girl is in rough shape but is going to contribute to the continued life of her fellow smarts. All the glass is intact(although the windshield is what you would expect from a 10 year old car) Rear glass has lettering on it. 2 front winter tires in good shape. 1 brand new all season tire on steel rim. (rear) 4 summer tires on steel rims. 3 winter tires in fair condition on steel rims. Doors, rear lower panel, rear door panel and front right fender panels are all available( in red). Door panels have lettering on them. Entire interior is available. lights and lighting assemblies. Assorted engine parts are available. However, engine itself is gasping its last. Make me an offer.
