Hi folks, just want to make everyone aware that I have placed an ad in Kijiji with parts for sale. I apologize for the spam, but I don't know how else I can do this. I don't think anyone looks at the classifieds in the forum.

OMG! I think my Fortwo is dead! I'm heartbroken! My car died driving to Vancouver. After a $350 tow into Mercedes in Vancouver, I'm told that repairs are about $3400, plus some repairs and maintenance that had to wait since I was living up north. The total cost will be near, and could be over $5000. This means taht the car is basically a write off. Does anybody know if there is a good auto recycler? Is salvage the best option? I'd appreciate any advice that you can share. Thanks, Tony

$3000, located in Aurora ON This Smart has been well maintained, kept very clean. It has served me so well as a daily driver over the years and I have mixed feelings about parting with it, but I'm treating myself to a new one :-) The B service was just completed (Oil, filter, air filter etc.) and it was noted that the front brake pads will need replacing soon and the front right coil is broken. Summer tires were new last year. Rear cargo cover. Block heater installed at the dealership with cord.
