451 - Removing Front Fender

Hello greater Smart community!Just wondering if someone has access to or could post the technical diagram to assist me in removing the driver side front fender on a Smart 451. I know for other brands (i.e. VW, etc...) these diagrams are widely available on the internet. It is actually cheaper to replace a fender (brand new already painted by MB) than to have a body shop complete the repairs! Any tips, links, pics, etc... would be much appreciated. Cheers,Mike

Yes, many of us have removed one or several panels. I drive a 450 so mine is a whole nose cone from side to side. I put a nasty scratch in it :-( I wasn't careful enough. I used touchup paint and scratchX and it's tolerable now.

Thanks! I'm sure my brother and I can handle it. I'm going to wait and see what the 2009 colours look like and perhaps do some funky two tone with panels (i.e. 2009 Red + Black with matching powder coated Steelies)
