Good day... Not sure where I shold post this... here or on the "buyers guide" section, hopefully I am not breaking too many rules. a.I am thinking of getting a Smart, well I am even thinking of getting a New Smart... I usually/always buy use, but for this little one I think I would buy it new.The question I have is:Is it better to order the options from Smart or get the car and add options from after market suppliers?I am thinking of a Passion cabrio, now should I just get the cabrio and some options (leather seats, wheels, floor mat etc) and then look for after market options (skirt, lowered, exhaust, wheel etc) or should I go with the Brabus cabrio?I am wondering about the assle of having the car at a shop to have all the mods done vs the cost of the Brabus option from the dealer.I guess part of the question is also: what do you guys/gals think of the Brabus Smart vs a Modified Smart.I am not looking for a rad car here just a bit customized.I welcome any opinion on this! Also I intend to finance the car so from the dealer the 'price' of the Brabus is what I finance vs after market mods are out of pocket expense on top of the car payments...Cheers,thx.a.

Well, I for one have spent WAY more adding parts to the car later than I would have if I order it fully loaded. But saying that, some of the additions I wanted to do, were not an option to purchace at the dealer.

My suggestion would be to get all the options that are available from the dealer, then anything that you can't get from the dealer do afterward.Just my :2cents:

The perfect smart is never finished. Get the best one you can afford, with all options, and save your money for servicing.Ian
