i bought a turbo cartridge from powertec aliexpress.....it was (and is) cheaper than the listing you posted...it worked just fine for a few years ...i havent seen the car i sold it a few years ago though so i cant say if its still going strong

it also had a cheap timing chain kit from aliexpress (or possibly dhgate)....i wasnt impressed with the chain quality in hand but it fit and worked...

i recommend new oil pump gears and oil pump cover since youre in that deep anyway

edited to add: if i had to do it again id do like willys and order a complete turbo/manifold assembly...its worth it to save the time and headaches working with rusted warped cast iron lol

M'm that's weird...the link I have for the timing chain kit has the oil pump gear?

Not sure what you are talking about recommending a new oil pump gears? Did you think I would not install it?

As for the oil pump cover I use Mr. Silicone. seems to work well so far

my oil pump sprocket was completely void of teeth when i purchased the coupe...

so i changed the actual pump because i know the only protection the pump has is that small screen on the pickup tube ....and now that im thinking about it i dont even remember it having screen (i had to also replace the pickup tube after it was damaged by previous owner ...my car was a complete basket case)

im glad i looked into the pump because it was definitely damaged....not much you can do about the block side but new pump gears and covers sure helped assure me it would last a while longer

Oh! I didn't think of that, thanks! They look like they would last forever! It's hard to believe that those gears would wear out. Now I have to figure out how to change it. Is it in the oil pan area?

the oil pump is not hard to find...its right behind the oil pump drive gear that youll be changing if you do the timing chain

How can you tell if the pump is worn? Is it the shaft or the shape of the gears

What normally goes is the sprocket at the left in this picture and then the chain gets destroyed slipping on the worn out teeth.  I don't know if the actual pump gets worn except from pumping bits of sprocket and chain...? The crank sprocket didn't show much wear on my two I have changed...but I changed them any way.

Remember it's your engine and your wallet, so the final decission is all yours.....I change everything if at all possible before it leaves me standing on the side of the highway...lol.

To each their own.   For the cost of an oil pump and such....is it worth having to remove engine again if you don't do it now...?

my pump gear had no teeth left

the pump itself had scratches on the cover which means it could bypass some pressure....i assumed it was due to metal passing thru the pump before getting filtered (the bottom of my filter cartridge housing also contained some metal bits)

if i find the old pump parts ill post a picture...i may have saved them but its been a long time i may have tossed them out
