scwmcan Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 My milage is similar to 3up's with Glenn's remap, I tend to be in a hurry on my all highway commute, and am getting between 4.2-4.5 depending on how fast I drive, A/C on etc. my milage was basically the same before the remap as well. Quote
SkydiverChris Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) I put about 6000km on my car with the stock map and was averaging 4.4 L/100km. Last weekend, I put a map on the car which "claimed" to be 65HP. I can attest that it is far from 65 HP, but it did make a noticeable improvement. Fuel economy seems to be improved, but I've only used one tank, and that tank included all the hard testing from putting a few different maps on my car. I filled up yesterday and got 4.1 L/100km. Based on that, I should expect a fuel economy of high 3's, maybe even low 3's when the weather warms up... I'm happy with the current map I'm running. As for the Scanguage Horsepower before/after. Before (OEM Map): 40.2 HP - Considering the car claims 41, I think this is pretty accurate. After (Tuned Map): 49.8 HP - Far from 65, but noticeable and acceptable. Fuelly Fuel Stats since I bought the car: http://www.fuelly.com/driver/skydiverchris/fortwo The fuelly numbers vary based on what type of driving, but more importantly, the cold weather and headwinds absolutely destroy the mileage. Da Shoumi Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 I'm supposed to get 59 HP from the Upsolute tune-up, but never got the chance to measure the actual power of this remap on my car. Sounds like a Scangauge will be on my wish list for my birthday Quote
Francesco Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I may have other issues at play, but my car always seems to run out of breath now. It doesn't seem anywhere near as muscular as it did early on. But ScanGauge still shows 50-ish hp on winter fuel. It's possible I need to clean my air filter, but I think it's more likely I have a bad injector or two. Quote
SkydiverChris Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Totally depends on many factors. I believe I am on track to get under 4 on this current tank I'm on. Quote
WudzRydr Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) I used to get into the 3's and over 600km to a tank before I got Glenn's remap. Now I usually get around 550 to a tank. I suspect my foot has gotten a bit heavier on the 401 onramps cause I don't merge at less than 100kph anymore. I've also noticed a fair bit more smoke than usual. But towing my bike to the races has never been better! Edited January 17, 2014 by WudzRydr Quote
