MikeT
Canada's total in October was 217 cars, so the year to date total is approaching 2000.
steveyfrac
Hardly seems worthwhile for Smart to stay in Canada for those kind of numbers.
MikeT
year: # smart sales 2004: 915 2005: 4080 2006: 3023 2007: 2433 2008: 3749 2009: 2667 2010: 2019 2011: 1851 2012: 2387 2013: 2237 2014: 1942 (YTD) The 451 has not had the success of the 450 on an average sales basis (and they ran out of 450s in 2007), but it would seem that sales around 2000 units per year is enough to keep them in this market. Clearly, sales in 2014 will be well above 2000 units, again. I also expect that the 453 (Nosebear as I call it) should perk sales back up to peak 450 levels.
