smart142 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 No seat belt for sure! Nasty! ................................................ JULY 24, 2015 BY BRANDON According to the news we’ve been able to source, the woman claims she was “Avoiding potholes” in the car when she drifted into oncomming traffic. The driver behind this car obviously was shooting video, and from what we can tell there were no potholes in the road. Additionally the GPS coordinates of the events were recorded and handed over to the police. The video was originally posted to Vkontakte then posted to Liveleak and updated by the video’s author. click to see video....http://knowledgeglue.com/woman-driving-smart-car-is-ejected-during-crash-nsfw/ Quote
SmartED Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Ouch! I don't think that will buff out any time soon, nor her scratches! Quote

marchanna Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 It looks like she started to drift into oncoming traffic and then made a sharp correction, which them caused her to lose control. I'm guessing texting while driving or some other distraction. Nasty all the same! She apparently survived if she was able to claim she was trying to avoid potholes. 1 Quote
marchanna Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 To her defence, it does look like there was a large amount of oil or water on the road when she made the second correction. If the pavement were dry she might have been able to recover it. 1 Quote

Francesco Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 The roads in Slovakia are definitely not as good as in Czech or nearby Hungary. There is definitely bad pavement on the right edge of the lane, causing it to narrow significantly, but there is no excuse for the narrowest car on the market to veer into oncoming lanes there without some other factor, such as texting or makeup application or a Big Mac and fries in the lap. That said, I can't fathom how people get behind the wheel of a smart without buckling up. It boggles the mind. Quote
