Hi all.  I have a 2006 CDI.. Under 50,000 KM.   I went out this morning and, the lights were on.  No key in the ignition, light switch turned off, oh and the seat warmer passenger side is on.  Again, no key in the ignition, can not turn anything off.  Car starts and runs fine.  Had a big down pour last night.  Did something get wet?  Its in the garage right now drying out.  Fingers crossed.  Lots of clicking going on.  I disconnected the negative so the battery won't get run down.  Help??? :)  Any suggestions would be welcome.

OK.  I did a little research and got the SAM partially out to check for moisture.  I got the 7 connectors on the top off but could not reach the back ones.  Not sure if there is a trick there but felt like I was straining the wires so I backed off till I hear from someone on wether there is a procedure.  However, there is no moisture anywhere that I can tell.  Put the seven connectors back on, reconnected the battery and went for a burn.  No problem EXCEPT THAT THE PARK LIGHTS ARE STILL ON and of course the indicator (not the seat warmer itself) is still illuminated.

Any ideas?

Just a thank you to all who responded.  At least for the time being the problem seems to have gone away. For the time being all is well.   Real weird.  Putting it to bed for the winter this week.  We'll see how it is in the spring.   Next fall we may have to switch to a 4 passenger vehicle so next summer may be the last summer with my little diesel.  Hopefully the 2017 leaf will have a 40 KW battery.
