I own a 2008 smart fortwo and im looking to install a turbo into it, i was wondering if someone knows where i am able to purchase a kit or if its safe to possibly fabricate my own turbo system. Huronlad Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 (edited) For someone thinking of going the OE route, in addition to the mechanical parts you will need the ECU tuned or a piggy back unit. Go with an ECU out of a turbo car and likely a SAM, shifter and display cluster will also be needed and they will likely all need to come out of the same car.
