I came home and went to plug in my car, and noticed on my EVSE that there were no lights lit.

Ive been leaving it outside and plugged in most of the time for the sake of convenience. Is it possible that it has an internal circuit breaker that's been tripped, or is it more likely dead?

The outlet its plugged into is live, and I've tested and reset the GFCI.

I brought the EVSE inside and plugged it into a regulated power supply, and still nothing. It seems to be well and truly dead.

So so my next question is: Is the included EVSE covered under warranty? And if not, how much do they cost to replace?

Depending how much you want to spend but anywhere from 300 to 700 dollars.  But you will end up with a much more versatile EVSE than you have if you spend 400 to 500 dollars.  Check out Juicebox EVSE's.  The wifi controllable units are great.  Ours is working excellent for us,  I don't know if it is weather proof though.

I actually do need a 120V charge unit. My new house doesn't have a 240V outlet outside, and with only 9 months left on the lease, I'm not planning to spend the money.

I spoke with with a service advisor at M-B Midtown in Toronto, and he seemed to believe that the included charge adapter should be covered under the factory warranty. I have an appointment to have it looked at on Tuesday morning, and will report back.
