The tiny Smart car was meant to be a revolutionary new idea in urban mobility. But more than 20 years after its creation, the Smart car pulled out of the U.S. after years of increasingly dismal sales. Now, its parent company, Daimler, is looking in a new direction.

Thanks I enjoyed that and learned some things on the Smart's history.

I've always had a interest in micro cars and after that video it suggested one on the Mini which actually started my interest in small cars and I hope to own a 60's Cooper sometime too.

Back when I was 19 or 20 I came very close to buying a brand new Mini van back in England......the price was 3000 pounds.....almost equal to what I paid for my house!  So common sense finally kicked in before actually signing for it and I backed out of the deal.....I settled for a ford van instead....did the same job at a fraction of the cost...Now I wish I had bit the bullet and bought it just for the memories....lol.   I also have always prefered small nimble vehicles.
