Leadwing Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I found this video while marking time waiting for counter-top stove installers to arrive. Just ignore the T-shirt nonsense about 1/3 of the way into the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssKXkp23y_c 3 Quote
1983JZR3W Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 (edited) That was fun to watch and I am really impressed by the ED smart. Edited September 17, 2020 by 1983JZR3W 1 Quote
darren Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 "... or more likely, needing to be towed..." Jackass. I think it's better to call these "pulling" tests, not "towing" tests. And the last one is a bit of a cheat, isn't it? The rolling momentum of the Jeep and the Silverado likely helped get the F-250 rolling, and all the smart had to do was keep them moving. Quote

This is mentioned in the video. They purposely left slight slack in the tow ropes between the trucks to get the required movement. Quote
Jocko Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 I saw one here in Montreal that they rigged with a snow plow on the front and they used it to clean the entrance drive of an apartment building. The up side is that its use is unlimited indoors. No toxic gas. Quote
MineCooky Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 A friend of mine uses his smart ED all the time to tow cars around his workshop. He says it's the perfect car for the job. Small and powerful. Quote
